What we're about

Our aim as a group is to share the Gospel to those who are interested on campus and to build up those already in the faith. We aim to bring people together, build friendships between students, and to challenge people to faith.

A major thank you to all who took part in our Christianity Week:

The Christian Union would like to thank all the speakers who came to speak at our events on our very first Christianity Week, namely Dr. John Murray (Mater Dei Institute), Michael Nugent (Atheist Ireland), Dr. Bryan Follis (All Saints Church, Belfast), and Jim Crookes (Brethren chaplain of Queens University Belfast), and all those who had come along to our debate, and our two speakers throughout the week.

We have recorded footage of all these events, and we ask for patience as we prepare these videos to be put online.

After we come back from the Easter holidays:

Has Science Disproved God? - Tuesday 13th of April at 6:30pm in An Tobar, Student Services Centre

On Tuesday at 6:30pm in An Tobar, Student Services Centre, we will be having Dr. Andrew Bowie, research scientist at TCD (Trinity College Dublin) and pastor at Trinity Church Lucan speaking on the compatibility between Christianity and science, and dealing with the question of whether or not the God question holds in light of modern science.

As always refreshments will be provided. If the automatic doors into the Student Services Centre are locked please knock on the window and someone will let you in around the back.

Bible Study / Prayer Meeting - Wednesday 14th of April at 12pm in Meeting Room 2, Students Union Building

On Wednesday at 12pm in Meeting Room 2 in the Students Union Building, we will be continuing our Bible Study of the Gospel of Mark looking at chapter 9, and we will be also praying for numerous things that affect our campus, nationally, personally and further afield.
